Why is it that Every time I find a man he turns out to be a Major jerk?

cause your looking for them, let them look for you, and don;t be to quick to jump into bed on the first date that tells them that if you will do it with me on the first date then you will do it with anyone on the first date, it brings up trust issues, (can I trust this woman who doesn't even know me but has jumped into bed with me on the first date ) the answer is usually HELL NO!!!! so you get used as a booty call..

Hey I could ask the same question about women, but I refuse to catagorize people. Maybe you are looking too hard, maybe lyou are looking in the wrong places, but you need to remember, that because some of the men, a large percentage of them are jerks, that not all of tlhem are. Keep on keepin on and have a good time living life. See what happens tomorrow.

'cuz the ones who aren't jerks have to be actively looked for, as they might find you attractive or the type of person they want to hang out with, but don't want to inconvenience you or creep you out by directly approaching you - also, the other stereotype is that every time a woman finds a man who isn't a jerk, she always wants to be a platonic friend, so as not to ruin the relationship.

I HAVE BEEN TALKING TO A MAN SINCE OCT 04 AND HES THE MOST KINDEST , SWEETEST, CAREING AND NO JERK . WE'VE NEVER MET YET . FEW MONTHS AGO I RE-FINANCED TO GET BETTER CAR IM PLANNING TO MOVE WHERE HE IS.MY HOUSE IS UP FOR SALE ALSO! IF SOMEONE WANTS TO BUY IT HELP BE OUT SO I CAN GET TO HIM! Sometimes seeking companions is akin to fishing. If you are fishing on the bottom, you are liable to hook a catfish or other bottom dwellers. May I suggest that you examine where you are looking and any patterns you may have of selecting folks. Often I find that I am repeating my actions and thus get the same reaction. I should not be surprised but am.

You just haven't found the right one yet. I thought that all men were jerks until I started dating my boyfriend. Then I realized there are good guys out there, sometimes it just takes awhile to meet him. It will happen you just have to be patient! Good luck.

I have had the same problem. I have found the only constant in all my failed relationships is me., the problem is within me. Once I figure it all out, and learn to love me then I will find the right man.

Maybe you're meeting them in the wrong place. Try a different location like a bookstore, park , coffee house or even a special event.

that's happened to me a few times. just take your time and get to know the guy. don't rush into anything. be friends first and you will find the right man. i know there are so many immature men around. some don't know when they have a good thing. try speed dating. it's fun.
