Lighter blotches after peeling from a sun burn...?

I recently got a sunburn on my shoulders and when it was done peeling there were lighter patches where I had peeled. Will these eventually even out with the rest of my skin?

Yeah its just because its a new layer of skin, gross huh!!
Protect it because it will burn easily

yup at first its noticable but a week or two later it all evens out

use a lot of lotions to help rehydrate your skin, time will help
