My parents are my best friends. They're fun, loving, generous, smart, devoted...everything anyone could ask for in parents. They've been married for 40 years, and are still madly in love. I hope every single day that I inherit all of their wonderful qualities.

Yes. I love both of my parents because they've always been there for me and were exceptional in that, although we had disagreements, they never rejected either me or my brother. I was always encouraged to be who I was whether they understood it or not. Yeah, Mom can be a real ***** sometimes and Dad is ornery. That's part of the territory. I not only love both my parents - I LIKE them. Now that they are old (and my Mom is very ill), I enjoy their company on a different level. I will miss them when they are no longer with us.

Yes, I love both of my parents. They've always tried to make my life better than the life they had. They raised me with morals, & they dragged me to church when I was little(I do thank them for that now) Did they screw up along the way? Yep we all do. But I learned from their mistakes as well.

My dad worked long hours to provide for his wife and four children. My mom could stretch a penny until it screamed for mercy so she could manage on the amount of money my dad brought home every week.

They taught me good work ethics, money management, faith, and how to keep going when there seemed no reason to keep going.

They are amazing people.

Well I can truthful say that mom tried to raise me to be a better person than i am/was but she had no talent for being a parent. We will not discuss my father.

I had amazing parents. They were/are Christians who love Jesus Christ and taught by living it not lectures. They encouraged questions and answered the kazillion I and my sibs asked them. Their yes was yes and their no was no and they always explained why they said yes or no. They were/are loving and patient, fun and silly and enjoyed us and were involved in everything we participated in all through our growing years. They are equally loving, fun, and involved with our spouses and their grandchildren that they adore.

I have been very blessed in my parents.
