I would go. I say this because it sounds like he is not taking you seriously. By going, this may knock some reality in his head to let him know he need to stop laffing and start being real with you, or he may lose you forever.

Are you sure this guy isn't married or living with someone?
Have you ever been to his home? How long have you known him?
I think it's odd that he's keeping you from his daughter.
It doesn't sound like he's as serious about you as you are about him because he laughs it off when you ask about a future together.

Guys don't always like to talk about the future but that doesn't mean he doesn't want a future with you. If his daughter is younger she may not understand and even teenagers have a hard time with divorce. I would talk to him and tell him how it makes you feel when he laughs..

He has a daughter? Girlfriend...runnnnnnnnnnnnnnn! I can't emphasis enough on young girls to stay away from guys who are married or have kids. Kids means that their mamma would always be in your life.
Let me tell you about my friend. She was 23 when she met this man with 2 kids. he was not with his girlfriend. She dated him and finally after few years married that guy. She regrets it. She says ," I don't know why I was after him. " His ex always visits and the child supports take away money.

GO! RUN!!!! It shows that he's not about to take it further. He views your relationship as a joke. That would sincerely offend me. Wait...how long have you guys been dating? Well if long, then he's obviously afraid of commitment. If thats the case, he's a loser that doesn't deserve your time.

His laughter and his not telling his daughter means you are a bed partner, no more, no less. If he's serious, he'll keep calling you when you refuse to answer his call. get caller ID. If he stops calling, he's not serious.
