My friends, tire is to run out of energy. Tyre is black rubbery thing wrapped around the wheel!!
And the 'plod' should only pull you if it's obvious, that's why i said look around, because it is frightening how often you will see it!
Thanks for your input.

It is an offence... It would come under the vehicle being unfit for road use... You should check your tyre pressure at least once a week!

In the UK it is an offence to have improperly inflated tyres and has been for decades. The one easiest to spot is underinflated ones and traffic cars usually carry guage as do Ministry Inspectors at HGV traffic checks. So it is not a matter of should be an offence - IT IS.Current legisitation Construction and Use Regs.Regulation 27.

There is no point. If the tire pressure is off by enough that an officer could possibly spot the problem visually, you are already violating existing laws regarding operating an unsafe vehicle.

No becasue sometimes the temperature will change you tire pressure without you knowing. If it's 80 when you go to bed and a cold front blows in and drops the temperatue to 40 or lower you have just lost about 10 lbs of pressure and you can't do anything about it untill you can get to a gas station or a tire shop.

In California it is against the law, to operate a vehicle with under or over inflated TIRES. NHTSA is requiring cars built after 2010 to have tire monitors built in.

If you are talking about tire pressure, It up to the individual to maintain their vehicle, but if someone let the air out of someones tires and that caused a fatal accident that is homicide

I don't believe you would get cited unless it is very obvious, It would be a good thing to keep the pressue at where it's supposed to be because one tire blown can ruin your day.

If you can't tell my looking or thumping your tires to see if you might have a low tire you shouldn't be out there driving to begin with.
