OK kiddies, let's all say this together: "resentments!" (not admirations) see my next series of questions...

Nothing. I adore my father. He was always there for me whenever I needed him. Even in my tough teen years when I thought I was right on every subject, my father dealt with that stupid phase of mine with such patience. Because of his wisdom and guidance, I am leading a good life.

My father was my hero . . . the strongest, wisest man I ever knew. Our religious paths diverged early on (he was an AOG minister; I eventually found my way home to Asatru) but I never lost my respect for him. He died in '01, but I have many of his books, and some of the stuff from his pastoral office (he liked owl stuff) in my home.

He was a bit strict, but it did me no harm. I do kind of wish he had been financially successful enough to get me off to a better start in my adult life, and had known and taught me more about money, but those aren't really things I "resent." Just a gap in his worldview---he trusted God, not always to good result; I found godhs eventually that expect me to look to my own strength and hard work.

He's been dead for over 20 years, so nothing to resent at this time.PLENTY earlier. Now just some residual sadness, but I rarely think about him.

Absolutely nothing.
My Father has been gone for 33 years. I stated at his funeral that the only man that ever walked this earth that was better than my Father was the Lord Jesus Christ.
I still feel that way.

oddly enough, dying when i was a young child-i know it's not 'rational', and that there's nothing he could do about it, but there it is...quite often the things that tick us off the most about the people closest to us are things that make no sense at all

He has an anger issue. He gets angry for stupid things and takes it out on his family.

Other than that he's a great guy.
