I really like the Command Strips by 3M. They hold well and are removeable without leaving adhesive behind. They have one called Poster Strips. I have not personally tried this one, but if it is like the other types that I have used then I expect it to be very good.

Sticky Tack For Posters

You can try cleaning the wall with rubbing alcohol first, let it dry and then put the sticky tack in four corners of the poster and also a dab in the center of the top, bottom and two sides. If that doesn't work, try tape but if you want your posters to last a long time, you should buy poster frames and hang them properly.

Roll the sticky tack in a ball, then press it between the wal and the poster, If you are already doing this you may want to use more sticky tack in the places you see are falling.
Hope this helps

Yes you can got to home depot and buy screen moulding , cut the moulding with a mitre saw. on 45 degree abgles so you are creating a frame. Glue the frame corners. Place the poster behind them and now the poster is a picture. You can even spray paint the frame with brass paint. Place a small string and hang. Makes a great addition to any apartment, bedroom bath or Living room areas.

Using thumb tacks are the best alternative to framing, and the tiny holes are easiy to repair, you can use a little white tooth paste to fill in the holes, if you have aw hite wall, or just touch it up if you want.

Why don't you frame them instead and hang them from a hook? It would look much nicer and give a more design look to your posters.
