I went to the doctor because my knees were swollen to the point i could barely walk and was in excruciating pain. My ANA was very high and he stated i needed to see an endochronologist asap. I have not yet seen one do to booking problems, but my knees are getting better. He doesnt feel it is rheumotoid arthritis. Since the knees are getting better now, do i still need to see the specialist?

jeri he probably wants you to see a rheumatologist and not an endocrinologist. yes it would be advisable to see one, even though it is also possible that rheumatologist may not find anything wrong in specific. there can be many other reasons for an ANA to be positive too, I don't think it will go negative though, good luck
