As a former practitioner - if you have a specific target to your love spell then it is very wrong.
If it is a general love spell - while as a Christian I still see it as wrong - it is not working directly against another person.
Experience? Yes. I've got some for you. When I was practicing I worked a love spell for a cute guy I wanted really bad. I got him. He turned out to be a real jerk.
One can removed negativity without a spell. One can be kind and thoughtful. But if you are working a spell to land a specific guy then you are endeavoring to remove his free will.
Trust me, what you want is the RIGHT guy for you. Not the guy you want. We women all THINK we know THIS or THAT guy is the RIGHT guy for us. But in reality our "desire" is usually superficial. He's cute. He's rich. blah blah blah.
The right guy is one you trust. One you can talk to for hours. While he may not be the prettiest guy in the room, when he's all yours that just doesn't matter.
Think of it this way. What if someone you felt NO attraction for worked a spell on you? How would you feel being forced by unnatural means into a relationship you never wanted? Imagine the work it would take to maintain that relationship?
Trust me. Don't even go there.
Be you. Let nature do the rest. Don't work spells for love.

No spell should interfere with free will or harm someone, or be used selfishly, a love spell would be wrong if used to make a certain person in love with you, it would be ok if you used the spell to make yourself more open to love. The spell must be done with the person fully wanting it to happen and have all the outcomes and sideeffects be thought of beforehand. If the spell is just used to remove the negative things from a persons life so that they may be happy and there is nothing conceivably wrong with any effect it has then in my opinion it would be fine to do as long as it does not force someone into being with you and you dont use it for a selfish reason.

Drawing love to your from a specific person is wrong. Drawing love in a general sense is okay. If you want to get rid of negative feelings a banishing spell works better though you still have to remember that free will takes presidence in all cases.
Blessed be.

If a spell gets rid of boundaries that are obstructing love, that's one thing (like casting a spell to give someone courage) but if you cast a spell in an attempt to change someone's feelings, that really is wrong. Remember this stuff requires responsibility.

Any spell done on a person without their permission is wrong. If the person gives you permission to cast the spell, then go ahead. Love spells can be done, you just cast them on yourself to help you fall in love, not on the person you want to fall in love with.

Im not saying its wrong, ive tried it once and it worked but once i stopped doing it the relationship didnt go on. Be careful because these things do back fire and dont ask to many questions one day when everything you do in the love department just messes up.

If you're doing something with a specific person in mind, you should have their permission to do so. Doing magical work to influence someone else without their permission is screwing with their free will.

yes, you are attempting to control somebodys mind by there emotions.
it is selfish and self centered ,and shows lack of self esteem and self confidence. maybe you should build your self worth up first then go from there. do you need somebody that bad....like right now? thats kind of desperate also.
so morally it is wrong..depending on what your basing your morals on;
peace

All magic is evil. And why would you need to make a love potion to have someone fall in love with you. That's sad and pretty desperate. No I stay away from Magic because it's not wise to mess with it.
