My boyfriend and I are newly engaged, and he did a FANTASTIC job with the ring. It's just perfect, and I love having something to see, that represents our commitment.

But what about him? I would love to give him something that serves as a reminder of how much I love him. And of my devotion. He wouldn't wear a ring...maybe another piece of jewelry?

Guys out there -- what would you like? Girl -- ever given something to your fiance? I appreciate the advice!!

i got my fiancee a watch for an engagement present. He fell in love with this watch so i snuck and bought it for him. So i guess thats kind of his engagement gift. well he was happy with it and wears it almost all the time. Just get something your bf likes! is there any type of jewlery he does wear? necklace? watch? bracelet? By the way congrats on the engagement!! (you could get him like an id bracelet with the date of when he asked you on it! or of the day you met, ect... that might be a sweet gift and something to remember your special time)! just go with what he likes and try to make it special. Good luck

A beautiful watch or bracelet, if your fiance is amenable to this. Sometimes a man would consent to wearing a necklace with a beautiful pendant. Some fiancees have given their fiances a simple ring to mark their engagement. Ask your fiance what he'd like. He may have some great suggestions.

I've been thinking about getting my boyfriend an engagement ring too. I gave him a promise ring a long time ago, but I'm going to update it.
Since he wouldn't ware a ring, I think a bracelet or necklace will serve the same purpose.

I've heard of people giving their fiance a watch. But some people like to save something like that as a wedding present. Maybe you can give him a nice wallet or money clip. It's not as romantic as a ring. But it's something that he could carry on him everyday.

Well first off, Im a guy and I wear chains, rings, and anything that looks good...[except earings...no earings] If hes not a jewlery guy then he wont like any peice of jewlery, but you could get him something he could carry in his pocket [like a charm of some kind] thats what I would do. Or maybe if he would wear a chain get him a small one with a charm on it. Hope this helps!

A friend of mine gave her fiance a simple ring. It was actually one with a symbol on it which was special to the both of them. I thought it was kinda neat and have been thinking about getting something for my finance. He wore it on his ring finger as you would an engagement ring.

I would say either a really nice chain that he can wear, because presumably you are going to want him to wear a wedding ring and if he wont wear it on his finger he can at least wear it "close to his heart" on a chain around his neck.
Or maybe a really nice leather wallet with room for a beautiful photograph of you or the two of you together, inside it.
Or go out and get glamour shots taken of you, and frame one in a really nice silver frame for his bedside.

When my fiance bought me my engagement ring, I bought his wedding band, and he actually wore it-on the right hand of course. I also made him a promise...that after we married, and moved into our new home, I would buy him a big screen TV.

Well, we married this past May, and in July, on his birthday weekend, I bought him the TV, and he is so happy.

My suggestion-if he doesn´t have one-a big screen TV. Men love them!

Why don't you give him a ring, with a matching chain so he can wear it around his neck? This way he wouldn't have to actually wear the ring but still have the symbolism that a ring holds.

he got an engagement Xbox. He really didn't want a ring and had his eye on one forever.
