It's funny. The "born agains" believe that the Jews are God's chosen people.
I believe differently. This verse is one of over a hundred verses showing that god (or JC) asks us to kill:
Psalm 58:10 - The righteous will be glad when they are avenged, when they bathe their feet in the blood of the wicked.

What if god wanted this suffering to help karma and stablish that those who will not work hard are bound to become invaded and abused. You must have an open mind to rapport to righteousness. Some people could deem me as racist, I insist effort is clear and decides for many people, so does hard work.
Some will insist they dont want to work and claim they are being punished or under prosecution, just to despite and insult that which they could respect and love most. This is not acceptable, there are a few dellusions, specially around power and expectancies, so the god of all is not expected more than he already does, for he carries more than others, not because he can, but because he believes in common goals rather than believing in importance or respect.

He lived as a man, made friends and enemies, faced persecution, sneers and jeers... He found love and devotion from family and friends, but for a short time... He was taken to a court where he was convicted of a sin He didn't commit, flogged, laughed upon, spitted on... with will trampled, He carried a cross about as heavy as that 3-seater sofa you have in your living room, then cried and died, looked upon by a mob with condescending eyes.
He paid the price for us to cross the bridge about 2000 or so years ago... by suffering for us.
God suffers for us all the time. But look... who makes those people suffer in the first place?
OTHER PEOPLE!
We people - as a collective whole - have this knack for HURTING OURSELVES, then we blame God for it!
Don't blame God for the sins of tyrants and selfish men.
We humans choose the path we want to take... they chose the path of dishing out suffering to other people...
... don't miss the target. It's their sin... they are to blame.

many, many Jews lost hope in god during the holocaust. if you read "night", the author talks about that. your right, i don't believe that anyone in human existence has suffered as much as the Jews have.
but that's just my biased opinion.

If you believe in 'God', then you also know that it was God who foresaw and engineered the slaughtering of over 6000000 Jews, blacks, Russians, gypsies and homosexuals. Not only that, but he also sent the homosexuals and Jews to burn in hell forever.
They (rightly) call Hitler a monster, and they call 'God' loving.
Go figure. Or save yourself the headache.

he was the one that probably told hitler to cause the holocaust. I figure he enjoys all the suffering that he causes.
