Jesus said they hate you because they first hated me. We are not going through anything that Jesus didn't go through first. Jesus also said that They meaning lost people hate the truth, because the truth shows them where they are wrong and what there life is missing. Ask any atheist you know and every one of them is trying to fill their life with anything but God. Have you ever just sit back and thought about it, Christians have been made fun of and killed for their belief and it is still going strong. Christians now are looked down on in public as Jesus freaks, called names, but it is still growing everyday. Like the old saying goes there are no atheists when it comes to death, everyone cries out to God.

I never defend my beliefs. I don't care what anyone thinks.
I tend to pick on the imbeciles who try to tell me about truth and know nothing about it. For instance Jews being gods chosen people but not admitting the story of Noah is actually the story of Gilgamesh or them calling their symbol the star of David when it is actually a symbol for the heart chakra which came much earlier. Sometimes it is the Christians who bash the Jews and are too stupid to realize they follow a Jew who was merely a political activist.

I'm an agnostic - we're often forgotten here on R&S, as most people think in primarily Atheist or Theist views. Anywho, I think the Catholics are picked on the most - and usually because the culprit thinks that Catholics worship saints, or eat people, or aren't Christian, or otherwise believes something false about Catholics. It doesn't come up as often as other religions, but I think they are the most misunderstood.

I do. I'm Muslim so I'm defending my Ummah brothers and sisters and Islam a lot. I think that Islam gets picked on so much because people choose to be ignorant and not bother to talk to real Muslim in their communities and read books written by Muslims about Islam as well as research it on the Internet. I think it has to do with racism in the USA towards Muslims in general and fear after 9/11.

Iam a Catholic Christian and we are always defending the church and our beliefs, because people would rather believe the lies put forth by such websites as Chick Tracts and Jesus is Lord and there are so many others, instead of listening to the Catholic who attends the church and knows the beliefs and 2,000 plus years history of Jesus Christs Church.

I think the LDS faith has a lot of criticism, mainly by ignorant people who don't know a true thing abotu the church, and just some even think they don't believe in Jesus.
But, the Catholics have a hard time too, because of the scandals.
Also, maybe scientology, because people don't know what it is either and it has been poorly represented by Tom Cruise.

I don't feel the need to defend my beliefs. They are what they are and that's that. No one is going to change them and I know that I can't force them down someone else's throat.

I don't bother defending my beliefs - I don't need anyone's permission or validation to follow my path. I'll happily explain my beliefs if asked, but I don't need to defend them to anyone.

People tend to leave me alone in my beliefs, probably because I'm more educated on the subject then they usually are and I shred them to bits.
