Please note that this is long and that I am catholic.

Firstly I've only really attempted to say the rosary twice. Both times it was late at night after work, and I get off at 11. So both times I was really tired and in the second decade I began to fall asleep, so I quite. I feel bad about that but I did.

Secondly, most of my nightmares have a house in it. Its a very tall house but not very wide. There is this one room that is haunted in it.

Knowing that:
I sleep with my Rosary and its been keeping all the nightmares away. A few nights ago something in my room caught fire, and I was really scared, so I wore the Rosary around my neck. I felt instant comfort so I decided to sleep with it around my neck the next night. Last night in my sleep they broke on the bead that I quite on. Well Im not sure if its the bead I quite on both times, but I know it was the one time because I was counting. Last night I had a dream with that house in it.

In the dream I was about to go into that one room but I stopped for some reason and left. The dream was scary at all.

Currently I am a little creeped by this

I NEVER WANDER: My sister leaves her fan on all the time and the motor over heated. It burst into flames while I was napping.

I understand that you are a Catholic. Do you place your trust fully in Jesus? Do you think he has control over your life? This is what Christianity teaches: trust the Lord with all your heart and LEAN NOT ON YOUR OWN UNDERSTANDING.
Pray to Jesus - He is your strength and your salvation.

blessings to you :)
ps: how did a fire start in your room? I hope you had that looked into so it doesn't happen again.

I'm also Catholic. I don't know about the meaning of the dreams, but I would say that perhaps you're feeling a little guilty about not finishing saying the Rosary. Perhaps the house is God's house. Maybe you need to go to Church and complete the Rosary. Perhaps it will bring you peace and satisfaction.
God Bless

It's nice that you have rosary. I also have "rosary" called Japa mala. I am an aspiring Vaishnava.

My japa mala keeps me feeling protected and secure.
If I have a ghost dream I just chant on my japa mala and then I feel safe. Or if I feel like crying I cry and chant on my mala.

I also keep special kanti mala around my neck and this protects me from evil influences.

I think because there is so much connection to God in the beads, it is very auspicious for the wearer and it helps us remember God. God is Good.

Your problem is your Katholik, and the rosary prayer you pray is Pagan.

The Bible has no such prayer as the rosary in it.

The Katholik rosary, elavates Mary to a position the Bible never gives to her and it diminishes the work of Jesus on the Cross.

Because katholiks think Mary can save them.

Jesus is the Son of Man, and at the same time he is the Son of God, therefore, he is God.

Jesus being God, how can Mary do anything for him. God doesn't need Mary, Mary needs God.. Never forget this.

I'm Catholic, & I'm a little creeped by your question.
You seem to be having a very unhealthy situation.
The Rosary is a device for meditation, not protection.
Don't even start a rosary if you don't have the time.

get a new rosary and do the whole thing.
make sure you also get the prayer card so you know how to do it(what prayers to say, what mysteries to meditate upon)

i'm not gonna try and explain the dream and the fire and the rosary breaking.

You are engaging in what people engaged in during the biblical days. Only in those days, they were called amulets, and they were provided by sorcerers.
This is a problem with the Catholic church when they look to "things" rather than faith.

Try this instead. Pray to your Lord (He's Lord, right?) and say that you will be willing to give up depending on your rosary for comfort and protection and would rather depend solely on Him for such needs. Give it a few weeks and see what happens. It may just be that God wants you to depend on Him, rather than beads and superstition.

I'm sure everything that's happened is just all a coincidence.

Be careful with what you do, don't leave things on all night so that they don't catch on fire, don't sleep with any kind of jewelry because it might break. Think ahead of time to make sure you have a restful sleep tonight.

Nothing to worry about.

I think you're being superstitious . Why do you think a rosary has any power? There's nothing in the Bible or the Catholic tradition that attributes any power to the rosary itself.

I think you're scaring yourself. It wasn't the rosary that stopped you having the bad dream. It was yourself, and your state of mind. God isn't in a rosary, he's in you. GB, you'll be in my prayers. :).
