Just like you, I examine what I hear carefully (sometimes too carefully) before deciding to believe or not believe it -- not only because I am a believer in Islam but also because I have long had trust issues, so I guess I must just come across as one extremely paranoid young lady, huh? (Ha ha!)

I try to believe everything that I hear... I mean, I accept everything as possible, and THEN I examine it in more depth to understand the whys and hows of it. If it makes sense, then I continue to believe in it. If further examination reveals that it just does not make sense, then I transfer my belief to something else.
The 13th Article of Faith of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints says this:
We believe in being honest, true, chaste, benevolent, virtuous, and in doing good to all men; indeed, we may say that we follow the admonition of Paul—We believe all things, we hope all things, we have endured many things, and hope to be able to endure all things. If there is anything virtuous, lovely, or of good report or praiseworthy, we seek after these things.

I take it literally when it says, "we believe all things..." It expresses an attitude of belief. Scepticism actually deadens the desire to examine something in more depth. Belief inspires one to find out more.

I use to believe people until I learned there was no Santa Claus. Now I am very sceptical of words that flow out over the tongue.I now check out everything that is even documented
on the net.Especially in religious documents.God's word is truth,so I love to read
and find out what he says about man and his lies and opinions that matter little to the inerrant
words of God.

Yes, I do - but I believe most, if not all, religious people don't. EVERY religion SAYS for people to examine the issues, but most don't really MEAN it. People tend to leave religion once they have examined it and see its similarity to mythology.

Specifically the media, right? Because the media is the worst source when it comes to factual information on Islam. It is the most bias thing that has come to be yet. I can't believe so many people believe everything they hear, and adopt their television sets as their teachers.

Depends if it catches my interest or not. If it does, then yes, I look into it before believing in it. I have never been one to just believe what I was told... no matter who is doing the telling.

You are also taught that it is OK to lie to the infidels(anyone who doesn't believe your garbage). So we won't believe anything you say here.
Also, you are being evasive and not making any specific point here, so there is no way to examine this issue thoroghly since you can't just be frank and state your issue.
Vagueness and lack of clarity are signs of deception and trickery.
You are not fooling anybody.

I examine everything fully, the military teaches that. It has nothing to do with my religion, it is my way of life.
