Everytime I see a question asked by an atheist, it's only atheists who answer and no Christians.

There's a reason the Bible demands us to be humble. Because through this humbleness you will find the truth of God. Ever wonder why most atheists are conceited and think they're above the system? Hehe.

Because an atheist will ask a question but Christians wont be able to answer except for "the Bible says". There is no other proof but for the Bible and even though that is good enough for me, atheists wont care about "the Bible says" will they?

It's a good question -- although it's true that the Christian
relies on the Bible, it's getting to know the Atheists position
and it's support system that can lead to a discourse that
both can learn from -- probably not too many minds will
be changed, but we can all be a little more educated.

i have a couple points that i would like to get out

first of all, we will never have all the answers...the Bible clearly answers and explains many of life's questions but there will still be some that we will never know in this lifetime...Christians put their faith in God, but atheists put their faith in themselves and make themselves their own "god" in a sense....atheists want to have all the answers so they frankly make stuff up....Christians (with the exception of some radicals) accept that they don't have all of the answers and put their faith in God and accept that only He knows and we will too in due time

i have also noticed that Christians do not usually mock atheists but atheists love to mock Christians...interesting, huh? do you ever see a board of Christians making atheist jokes? probably not. but vice versa, all the time. i find it interesting that the Bible says that Christians will be persecuted and it truly comes to pass how others make fun all the time..

all in all, i think the main reason Christians don't answer many times is NOT because there's no point in debate...it's because atheists are always ready to criticize personally and say our beliefs are dumb even though we have so many answers right in the Bible...who wants to have an argument with someone who will only verbally attack you and not talk intelligently?

I try to answer every question I see and I am a christian. My email and screen name for im is not hid so if any atheists has a question they can email me personally. To answer your question we try to answer the questions that are not making fun of God or other Christians. Everyday I come in here I see atheists mocking Christians.

From time to time I have, but only if I think they truly have the desire to learn. Most of the time, all the atheists do is insult, and spit out what they think the Bible says, when it really doesn't. Had they understood they wouldn't write half the things they do.
Wolves travel in packs, don't they?

Ignoring critics is usually the best policy. Jesus did not search out those critical of him & his message in order to debate or argue with them. Moreover, harm can be done, & the time is often wasted.

"Therefore I desire that in every place the men carry on prayer, lifting up loyal hands, APART FROM wrath and DEBATES." --1Timothy 2:8

"If any man teaches other doctrine and does not assent to healthful words, those of our Lord Jesus Christ, nor to the teaching that accords with godly devotion, he is puffed up [with pride], not understanding anything, but being mentally diseased over questionings and DEBATES about words. From these things spring envy, strife, abusive speeches, wicked suspicions, violent disputes... --1 Timothy 6:3-5

"the works of the flesh are:
enmities,
strife,
jealousy,
fits of anger,
contentions,
divisions,
envies,
and things like these.
As to these things I am forewarning you...
those who practice such ... will not inherit God’s kingdom."
--Galations 5:19-21

Experience has repeatedly shown it best to do as Jesus counseled regarding thehighly critical Pharisees of his day: “Let them be.” --Matthew 15:14

Jesus kept busy preaching the good news of God's Kingdom & gathering sheeplike ones, not letting the carping of the critics disturb him. His true followers do likewise.

They already gave us their only answer: God did it. What else do they have to say. We have seen what happens when they attempt to think of something new. Cameron make a complete idiot of himself with that banana theory. Others are even more afraid than before to come up with some new argument.

I asked a straightforward question of Creationists and got two cut and paste replies that did not address the question.

I think it's because sometimes the questions aren't addressed to Christians.

Because debate serves no purpose other than to annoy someone.
