20 lb test Ande fishing line
Danny or Gibbs plug
2 oz castmaster

Everyone around the lighthouse uses lures. If you fish Turtle Cove, you could get away with bait. Yet for bait try Ditch Plains or the village beaches. Montauk is definitely a lure crowd.

AAAAA.... LONG Island!

Have you contacted any local sporting goods stores in the Montauk area? How about the Chamber of Commerce or City Hall? They're always full of referrals.... and also any "licensing" information, too. Are there any "outfitters" or fishing "expedition" outfits you can call and ask?

Happy fishing, don't that that BIG one get away!
