Any kind of dark juice. The kids won't know the difference. And you can even get sparkling juice too that comes in a fancy bottle so the little ones don't feel left out. Small details like that make the kids feel like they are a grown up and part of the group.

Hope this helps. :O)

Wine is not a cocktail however of path you want a few of it. I wholeheartedly accept as true with the prosecco suggestion, would be first-class with the artichokes & other antipasti you recounted. A cocktail to have as an apertif would need to be the strong aperol spritz, but it is vitally difficult to find aperol in the United States. If you'll discover it, make the spritz through mixing about 2/three white wine (once more, prosecco is excellent for this) and 1/3 aperol - on the rocks. Add a spritz of seltzer/club soda, garnish with an orange slice & a green olive. Yummy. P.S. = sangria will not be italian!!!

If you are talking about drinks for the kids, then how about Italian Sodas? Purchase several bottles of your favorite Torani syrups and some San Pelligrino water. Chill the Pelligrino, and add to syrup, stir in ice, a marachino cherry and there you have it!

Italian cream sodas

ITALIAN SODA

4 tbsp. Torani syrup
3/4 c. milk
Carbonated water
Crushed ice

Mix the syrup and milk in a tall glass. Add carbonated water and ice until the glass is full. (Don't try mixing the ingredients in any other order or the milk will curdle.)

Italian soda!

Sparkling water + either fruit juice or flavor syrup like for coffee + a splash of half&half.

Soooo good!

Why not give the kids the same thing. People have to teach kids to try everything or anything once or they will never know what they are missing.
For the drink you can give them grape juice or there are non-alcoholic wines out there.

You can make a "non alcoholic" sangria for the kids using grapejuice or cranberry juice and sliced fruit.
