How can guys think about sex every 6 seconds?

If that's true, then wouldn't they not be able to carry on a thought AT ALL? How long does a thought last?
Wouldn't that mean that they would masturbate atleast 5 times a day?

no, it's every 8 minutes, not 6 seconds. and a thought can be a microsecond, or two hours. it doesn't matter really, because guys know how to fantasize/daydream and still continue doing what they're doing. that being said, no, it doesn't mean they would masturbate 5 times a day, because the situation neither calls for it, nor provides the opportunity for it. i don't even do it every day, and i think about sex all the time.

I've heard that myth too, from several different sources. Like a lot of the garbage you hear about sexuality, it's not true.

The scientific studies that have actually been done show that the average male thinks about sex anywhere from several times a day to several times an hour. (Several meaning 3 or more). Most of that variance deals with activity level (busy with other things) and age (less the older we get).

In a typical college classroom lecture (young age and low activity level), at any given moment in time, about 20% of all males are focused on the lecture. Another 40% are daydreaming about other things and 40% are daydreaming about sex. (For this study, sex was loosely defined as any type of romantic/sensual/sexual focus).

We can't! Thats absurd, think of it like this, 6 seconds a day for 86400 seconds, now does this seem logical? That would mean that we think about it 14400 times a day! Not likely.

That is absolutely not true*. You cannot think of two(2*) things at the same time*. Thinking about sex varies greatly from person to person*.
