Yes, It is cosmetic, thats why insurance dosn't cover it, but I'm not to young because its not an add on, Its for scarring and its quite urgent actually, waiting is not an option, its now or never.

If you want to talk about to young, Take this in:
From the age of 9 I'de wake up, wash my face, cry, and let the salt in my tears rip through my pores and burn, I hated it, and I didn't understand, Why does my face hurt? What is this on my face that looks sooo stupid, and why do I need to put this medication on my face that burns so badly? I still wonder this...
I would wonder why when I was sad and a tear slipped, i felt like there were nights having sword battles in my pores, it was painful at such a young age.
I can't take just take meds hoping for the scars to go away and I can't take meds hoping that my acne won't keep distroying my face, I can't take meds at all.

The reason I can't take meds is because I have an over-active immune system and I am already immune to most meds which is really bad because if I get sick, even a small infection could kill my liver, which would kill me.
I really need help, and this is no joke.

Excellent question minus the type and reason for the surgery you speak of.
Your doctor who recommended the surgery should have all the info you need.

Not enough info here to even guess at it. You may be asking for cosmetic surgery, and in that case, you're way too young in my book. Sorry.
