I have orientation tomorrow for Giant Eagle.
Should I dress up a little or is it no big deal since it's just orientation?

I would definitely dress up a little. I am a Retired Customer Service Manager from Publix Supermarkets, and I always noticed when new associates took the time to look nice for their first day of work.

Your appearance speaks volumes when it comes to your job. You may be a little uncomfortable, as I know orientation is very boring, and long, but looking nice (even when getting a job at a Grocery Store) shows that you care about your job.

Good Luck!

For orientation, dress like you will when you're done with orientation and actually on the job. Don't wear jeans or flipflops though.

Good luck.

It really depends on your employer, but otherwise it shouldn't matter. It's not really looked at as a "dress up event" or something like a service award luncheon. You might be okay just wearing what you would normally wear on the job.
