Apparently, modern astronomy mainly deals with the cosmos. Ancient astronomers and astrologers dealt with matters that were connected to the intellectual and apparently the moral energy of the universe. Astrology is supposed to be the key to understanding our existence and our place within the universe. This philosophy that our existence is connected to the moral energy seems flawed to me when future apocalyptic prophecies are predicted.

The Egyptian Zodiac dates back to around 30 BC. An Egyptian Zodiac was found on the ceiling of the temple Hathor at Dender of Upper Egypt. The ring contains the same Astrological signs as our modern astrology signs. For instance, Pieces "The Fish", Aquarius "The Water Carrier", Capricorn "The Sea Goat", Sagittarius "The Archer", Scorpio "The Scorpion", Virgo "The Virgin", Leo "The Lion", Cancer "The Crab", Gemini "The Twins", Taurus "The Bull", Aries "The Ram, Libra "The Scales".

Note: The Egyptian astrological signs (today's well known modern astrological signs) can be found within the scriptural writings of the world religions like Christianity, Judaism, Islam, etc. Apocalyptic scriptures definitely do contain the signs and symbols like the "Ram", "Balances aka scales", "Scorpion", and the "Bull", etc.

Would anyone care to have this matter investigated? Why are astrological signs connected to scriptural writings in our religions? Many religions teach us that Astrology is a forbidden practice?
