I was just wondering...since they do deal with electrons, are they thought any physics concepts or even formulae in "electrician school" or whatever they are called?
And I know there is a big difference between an electrician and an electrical engineer, but can someone sum up the differences so I can have a clearer idea?

An electrician's training includes electrical circuit theory. Circuity theory is part of any standard physics curriculum. But other important aspects of physics such as classical mechanics, electromagnetic theory, or optics are not required, but they are required in a standard electrical engineering curriculum.

An Electrical Engineer is one who design every thing about line power, current, ect. He can be an electrician. Electrician do not need to become so expert just like Electrical Engineer but of course he shld take Physics subjects about electricity in order for him to know about the principles of electricity.

Yes, like other subjects, physics is not only taught at school. I am not an electrical engineer nor an electrician but still I know physics. I learned it from high school.

A high school grad without much physics can work as an apprentice for four years and take the test to become a journeyman. It's mostly on-the-job training and doesn't involve much classroom instruction. An electrical engineer has a four year college degree, and has taken physics in high school and college.

many electricians are typically versed only in code, and will know only the basics.

An electrical engineer will have had all the physics and circuits classes and understands how and why things work.

An electric engineer knows everything ? His chapter closes here.
And and electritian knows..that what is the job of the ICU is.
An electritian will know capaciter are ment for storing current..but how it does he does not know.
So when he find a capaciter is not passing a current, means its bad. And he will tell you CHANGE IT.

Means an electritian knows the basics...he can follow the circuit, the connections etc and some how repair also.
