Milk is very good for the body and mind, on one proviso. It should be raw and from pasture fed cows.
The pasturisation of milk breaks down the proteins into something that is foreign to the body, that is why there is so many allergies to milk.
Pasture fed cattle are so much more healthier than the confinement cattle found in most North American Dairies, so produce a healthier milk. Confinement cattle produce milk high in bacteria counts and puss due to the high incidence of mastitis. This means they need to be constantly fed antibiotics and the milk has to be pateurised in an attempt to make it safe to consume. Nearly all health problems associated with milk and there are a few of them, are due to the processing
Raw milk is loaded with enzymes and bacteria that assist with it's digestion. I've read of people consuming only raw milk most of their lives and retaining good health.
So, I am with you, as long as it is unadulterated from pasture fed cows.
