Well chances are if they dont flatter you very well there are probably others that they dont flatter as well. I would look into the guidlines and see if there are any changes that you can make or accessories that you can wear to make the uniform more you. As far as being tall... take this from someone who is just average.. fluant it!! be comfortable with who you are and learn to stand tall and take pride in your height. I have a 13 year old and one the things I have taught her is that boys arent going to like you until you are comfortable with who you are and until you have discovered who you are, please learn to be comfortable with who you are before trying to impress idiotic high school boys.... i wouldnt worry about a boyfriend your time will come and when it does by being comfortable and confident in yourself you can make the best of it!!! I would focus on getting the hang of things as a freshman first before looking for a boyfriend but as incoming freshman dating someone older than a soph or maybe a jr might be hard because a lot of seniors rarely date freshman. I hope you have great luck this year and I hope things go great for you

Sounds like a Catholic school and uniforms are designed not to flatter you. Anyway, Im only 5' 7" and I dated a girl for nearly 3 years back in 1967, she was 6 feet tall.
If you walk through life always doubting yourself and your abilities, then you will most surely fail! Your only 14 or 15 years old now, so I dont recommend you start dating older men right now, as they will most likely make sexual demands upon you. You are too young to be buying baby clothes instead of school supplies!

I am going to be honest with you. I had a friend in seven and eighth grade. She was very tall and was teased every single day. All the kids in the class would chase her home about 2 1/2 miles and throw rocks at her. She was pretty and there was no reason that I could see for them to pick on her. She survived school and had different boyfriends in highschool and was successful after high school. Going to school can be very difficult. Ask the principal if you can receive or buy a low healed shoe. It is only July stop worrying about this. Try to enjoy school for what it is there for and be strong head up and if someone in your school enjoys your company great if they only want you for your looks you don't want them believe me. Join clubs gymnastics track music whatever and enjoy your time there.

relax. first off, i doubt uniforms will flatter anyone well, so don't worry so much about that part. and i'm sure that u will find at least one guy at ur school who will take u for who u are. i was not confident at all when i was entering my freshman year (and we don't even have uniforms) but i met a few guys who saw the beauty in me and my friends. if we could do it, i'm sure u can. even if you're tall. (remember, high school guys are taller than 8th grade guys.) good luck! =)

They'll catch up eventually. If guys won't date you because of your height then they're not the kind of guys you want to be with anyway. Lots of high school boys are insecure (and so are some adult men, but we won't get into that) so if it doesn't happen for you right away don't worry about it.

5'10" is a good height - lots of men love a tall woman. As for the uniform? I bet everyone hates them just as much as you do.

i know that at this point the thought of dating an upperclassman is not even in your mind, but once you are in high school, you will have that opportunity. Most likely you are more mature than the freshman guys, so feel free to explore the older guys rather than waiting on the ones your ages. FYI, they will never catch up.

if it's not flattering on u, then it's most likely not flattering on other girls n guys as well. to be honest u sound a lil insecure right now, so the worst thing u could do is get w an older guy juss cuz he's taller, please don't fall into peer pressure, n ur just a freshman, so u have tons of time.

Connie soon enough the young fella's your age will all be sprouting in height also. So don't bother going for older guys as most will have a hidden agenda in order to see someone younger then themselves. And there's nothing wrong with being taller than people your age anyway. My wife is approximately your height and I am in a wheelchair, so there is quite a big difference and it doesn't bother either of us. Best of luck and believe me when I tell you once the hormones start kicking in guys your age they will soon outgrow you.

Just relax! The guys will get taller! They might not have matured all the way, so they will be a bit shorter. You could always date older guys, as most girls do, but don't go to old and get a poor guy in trouble!

Good luck!

guys just break hearts anyways. Love comes to you when it wants to, I wouldn't try for it. It's like a fly, if you try to grasp it, it just slips out of your grasp. But if you wait, it will eventually come to you. The right guy will come around sooner or later. and you're only going to be a freshman, meaning you're 14-15 years old? you've still got the rest of your life ahead of you. Older guys or younger, it's not going to make a difference in the end.
