LOL! I like your reasoning for this question...except you're not given the choice to assimilate as a BORG. If you're not interested in being a Christian, you can chose not be one.
But a Christian BORG...that's a double whammy. I think your BORG instincts would take over.

No. God assimilates.
The Christian is supposed to be preaching the Gospel.
Let's face it, God doesn't want to assimilate just anyone but only those He wants into the collective.
The others are not assimilative material. Not according to the hive or the collective, but according to El Shaddai.
