It is nice car for Your age ... Anyway, it is very dangerous car (to strong, to fast ...). You should take it only if You are smart enough to drive it careful!

Excellent choice...it's a rock solid car, Mitsu has done great product improvements, and it's not too fast or powerful or flashy. Great choice for a kid.
These people posting are innocently confused. The new GTS is not a particularly fast or powerful car at all. They must be thinking of an Eclipse turbo or an EVO or something.

it's okay but --- if you are getting your 1st car ..... try this .... find something that is cheap and learn to drive in a cheap car --- if you have an accident in a cheap ride you won't feel so bad and then in about 6 or 8 months move up and change cars ... if that doesn't suit you and you still think that you have to look good in a new car you should check-out the smaller suv type cars as they are a stronger-for -the-most-part body.... happy motoring.. and remember you can get to the country club in a vw or a royce it doesn't matter which --- you're still there and everybody is happy to see you ............

No. That's a really really really dumb first car. They are seriously powerful. My mate used to have one, and they have so much power in them. As confident and as good a driver you may think you are, you need to be sensible about your first car. Once you're on your own things are your responsibility and so are the people's lives who get in your car and the pedestrians that are around your car. Learn the rules of the road first, then think about moving up.

No. WAY too expensive to buy and a fortune to insure.
Buy a decent used car for a couple of thousand and don't start piling on so much debt so young.

I would say for your first car you should get a piece of crap! Really, most first cars get in accidents.
So unless you are a really good driver (which, at 17, no one is) or you have really good insurance, go for an older car.

Try recommending the evo. It was top ten fastest car that came out of its first year.
