i noticed that lots of christians got mad from my previous question..!
and some of them called me by a terrorist...and others were just insulting my religion or giving other explanation about other verses and topics ..cause they couldn't defend their religion...!
i mean why should i be terrorist or other names you called me by since this was written in your bible..???!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
i didn't write it or something...it's there in your book...whether you like it or not....but i can see that no one accepted the challenge cause you know deep that this verse is not true..and that means that some of the verses in your bible are corrupted...which means that your entire believe is corrupted...!!
and you are afraid from the TRUTH !

For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them." . so plz try to call him and ask him to appear to you .and now i tell you that he ll never appear to you .

Look I'm a Muslim too, but your just being a jerk. Part of being Muslim is not pushing our belief on others and respecting each of the other major religions.
Oh and someone earlier said something about the prophet Mohammed (pbuh) performing miracles. He never did perform miracles, nor do we believe he did.
With all due respect the Bible and the 3 other books of god were written by man, sort of as a book of teachings. The Quran is believed to be directly the words of God that Prophet Mohammed (pbuh) wrote. That was his gift: Moses could split the seas and (i'm not really sure what to call it), Jesus could walk on water and heal people, and Prophet Mohammed got the Quran---- Correct me if I'm wrong plz about this
I'll edit this answer later to add more.

I looked at your other question, and I have this to say:
1. Jesus DID say He was God. "I and the Father are one." (John 10:30) That's just one verse. There are many.
2. As for the passage you mentioned in your other question, I actually HAVE experienced Jesus in a very personal way. I've been in groups that were praying, and we DID feel the Holy Spirit...which is exactly what Jesus promised.
3. Muslims keep claiming that the Bible is corrupted, but not one word has changed in over two thousand years. Perhaps some of the phrasing changed from translation, but the meaning is still the same. The entire Bible is 98.5% in agreement with the oldest manuscripts, and the New Testament is 99.5% in agreement.
And not to be rude, but did Mohammed ever claim that he was able to perform miracles, or is this something that's only appeared in the Hadith? Which was written a couple hundred years after Mohammed died, by the way.
Look, believe what you want, we'll respect that. But if you try to challenge Christians on what WE believe, and try to insist that we're wrong end of story...well...many of us have studied for YEARS. I've studied the Bible for over twenty years. How about you?

First of all I am not going to call you names or insult you because of your religion, and I am not going to get into your last question, just don't feel like going there, I believe the Bible, 100%. When you read the Bible, you cannot take a verse out of context, you have to read what is before it, and what is after it to get the full meaning of the verse! that is all there is to it. If you take one verse and try to decifer it's meaning without reading the whole section, you are taking it out of context. A Christian person would not call you names and run you or your religion down, so I will not say anything. But one thing is for certain, if you do not believe the Bible and do not live as Jesus wants us to live, I guess some day you will learn the truth and then it MAY be too late for you to live in heaven for an eternity. I will pray for you!

With all love and concern for you, I tell you this; Jesus is the son of G-d. This is the statement He made many times in the Bible. Yes He did say that those who believe can do the same things you are talking about if you believe. That's the problem with most people that call themselves "Christians". Sadly, this makes them look as bad as your two posts. Most of them don't live by the Bible at all. They are so far removed from it that they don't know what they are. About your statement of taking up serpents and drinking poison, it's not something you are supposed to do on purpose.
Funnier still is that Jesus says that it's not what you call yourself that makes you what you are, it's what you do.
Dear Father in Heaven, Please help this lady see the truth while she is looking for a lie in your word. Help her to see that the lie is in a man that says that they are yours and is really not. Come to her in her own night visions and show her the truth as in this way, it can't be denied by her. Show her how that Jesus is more than a great messenger, but Your Son who died on the Cross because of your great Love for her.
In the name of Jesus I Pray, Amen.

You're right! That IS in the Bible. And I've never yet met a fellow Christian (myself included) who has enough faith to attempt most of those things, or even WANT to. That "speaking in tongues" thing is nonsense that some ignorant folks have been attratced to -- but I don't think they drink poison. There IS a cult that plays around with snakes, and MOST of them have lived through it. But I've never heard of them trying to drink poison, either. And then there's Jim Jones' cult down in Guyana. They ALL drank poison -- but it didn't work. They all croaked.
In case you hadn't noticed, MOST Christians are "cafeteria Christians. Especially the *pseudo*-Christians of the "Religious" Radical Right -- the RRR Cult. And they sorta pick and choose the verses that work for them -- and IGNORE the ones that don't. (Makes their lives a lot simpler! :) )
By the way -- the verse probably IS true. There's only one problem. There probably isn't a Christian on the planet who has enough faith to do all those things and live. Heck, Peter couldn't even walk on water for more than a few seconds before he lost the faith he had to do it -- and he was looking right at Jesus and talking to Him in person at the time!

I answered your other question. Did you bother to read it? I was #57. Gave proof as to what Jesus said did indeed happen. Did you take me up on my challenge? You know when I asked you to prove that Muhammad was not a pedophile? You can't do that, can you? You know in your heart that he was and so he could not possibly be a prophet of God.
Jesus has revealed Himself to Christians. We have the Holy Spirit within us, guiding us. God is always with us.
You can never win these silly challenges because you have no clue who God is. You have been deceived. I will pray for you, many, many more times.
God Bless.

OK....I know I will be just one of many answers. I am sorry for those who offended you. People often get defensive, don't they.
I have re-read the passage to which you refer. What I think is causing the mis-understanding is the phrase "I am there in the midst of them". The presence of Christ is not a physical appearance. I have no doubt that Christ has been with me, and is with me, in a tangible form, though not a physical form. You cannot conjure up the bodily form of Christ.
I know this isn't going to satisfy you, but I do want you to know that your questions make me think, and for that I am grateful. I always appreciate any challenge that makes me examine what I believe..

I think people have a problem with you questions because you are attacking their religion. How would you feel if they posted a question attacking yours?
Im not Christian and I question much in the bible but this is in my own study, I would never insult anyone elses religion and bash it, tell them that their book is wrong.
How do you know whats right or wrong? None of us know for definite, for sure that any of our religions and beliefs are the one and only right way and we will never know. But it is our choice as to what we want to believe and follow and that is enough. Thats why its called "faith".
And think about this: what would Mohammed do? Would Mohammed or Allah be yelling at people on an online message board bashing their beliefs? No, because they dont have that kind of anger, hatred and judgement in their beings.
rise above it. Stop giving Muslims a bad name.

firdt off all i respect your belief and my family belongs to a pentacostal church and i could tell you that we believe in only one God. We believe that god sent his son to die for us on the cross. As i stated theres only one God. Now i respect your beilefs and i would never state that you are a terrorist nor would i say that what you are corrupt. Im not the one whom can judge you because thats not my job. But i can tell you that a true believer is one that does good. As i told you i dont follow the religion But, in every religion god is good, mercyfull and full of love. And no matter what the religion as long as your heart as you do good and not harm others you have pleased God. We all believe in god and that is the important part of it all. I think the wrong people have answered you and well you have the wrong impression of what we are all about.

Jesus said, "I am the Alpha and the Omega, the first and the last, the beginning and the end." Rev. 22:13
"In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God." John 1:1
"And the Word became flesh, and dwelt among us, and we saw His glory, glory as of the only begotten from the Father, full of grace and truth." John 1:14
Jesus is the Eternal Word of God the Father made flesh. Jesus Christ is God The Son-incarnate. God bless.
