Put plastic wrap over the bowl of the toilet (under the seat). Make sure it's stretched tight.

universal remote... keep turning the tv off and on while hiding... it only works if they have a remote too so they get confused. oh and tell them something stupid like when a ghost is in a room it makes electronics act weird like radios changing stations or lights going out... dont mention the tv they will get it.
