I have a hard time breathing sometimes.
This has been like this for 4 weeks now.
I'm 22.
My doctor thinks its asthma so she assumed that it is.
She doesn't seem to think its nesscary to have a test done.
I got xrays done & they come out normal.
What ALL could be wrong with me if its not asthma?
Wouldn't I have more symptoms if it wasn't?
Why or Why not?
The prednoise pills that I have took for it help.
What ALL does everyone think?
And why?

I've had asthma for twenty years now, for the first five years I wasted a lot of time and money going to general practitioners, I finally got wise and went to an allergy/asthma specialist and have stuck with him. My advice, go to an allergist/asthma Dr., you'll be glad you did!

Well, what the doctor giving you for the asthma? if anything, if not, she only your primary physician so, go see an allergist or an asthma doctor and get something to help. Prednisone is good, and helps but, you also need something like a nebulizer to get you over the humps when it gets bad and, a Breathalyzer like a combivent and possibly a Advair disc.
There are things out there to make you life more pleasant even shots. Consider a allergist.
