Over the past week God has put a burden on my heart to pray for this generation. We live in a world where the youth is becoming increasingly sinful. But thank God, there are young people being raised up to do the will of the Lord. I am 17, and I know that I need God's help everyday to live a Christian life. I know that Egypt's Disciple feels called to the missions field. And I give thanks to God for that. A good friend of mine is too led to go to the missions field. I feel a heavy calling on my life to do the Lord's will. Where He will have me do that, I am not sure. All I know is that the youth of today needs the prayers of all those surrounding us. So will you pray for today's generation? God bless and thank you.

Wow, it is so encouraging to hear a teenager sold out for Christ. I get saved when I was about 15, but rededicated my life to him about a year ago. You have a real heart, very compassionate. Maybe your spiritual gift is mercy. I will pray for your generation. You are so right and it's not even this generations fault. It's all the stuff on TV and the internet they see. I will not only pray for your generation, but for the parents and celebrities to set better examples. God bless you and have a blessed day! Never stop praying and never give up!

I give God thanks that I've found other Christ loving people here on R&S. I can see you truly have the Holy Spirit.

Yes, I've seen that this generation thinks that they don't need God; they're too wrapped up with things of this world. 99% of the time, I'm the "wierd" one, but I consider it a blessing to be rejected by the world.

Thank YOU, and I'll keep praying

Your Sister in Christ,
Andrea :)

I've already been praying for today's generation of young people, which includes me, and I'll continue doing so. It's great to know that other people my age are doing the same. It's scary what's going on out there today.

Hey it's No*no
Yes I will pray for todays youth. I am 15 year old, an I am raised in my aunt's church. She has taught me to live my life according to the bible. And to make JESUS first in my life. I see how our generation is today. They are caught up in drugs, sex, and violence. I will not only pray, but go out and teach, and talk to young people. I thank you for being a teen that loves to please GOD in all your ways. Please keep it up. And I would like to keep in touch with you. So please e-mail me. G.B.

I agree that we all need to pray for this generation that is coming up.
But we also need to pray that there will be those of experience that will step up to the plate and mentor those that are coming up.
Our prayers are with you.
