Yes, if you created the monster, Allowed it to do whatever it wanted...

As for holding someone responsible... well, would you hold me responsible if the local newspaper wrote an article about me, claiming I was a murderer? Without knowing if it were really true or not?

I think that's the problem with this "holding responsible" argument. I understand Why people do this, but the argument is a circular one because each side is basing this on what other people have written about a Deity. If you want them to come out of the way of thinking, you have to stop feeding it.

If it doesnot have a mind of its own there is cause and effect, plus existing conditions to explain what is happening. The given monster should be able to move around but not attain to accepted social values, therefore if he does not have rights by society´s decision, he should not be forced to know he is responsible in any way.
If he has a mind of his own he should see differently from normal humans but not entirely from regular animals, so he will behave to his abidance not common tollerance. Nature does behave, it does not respect law, but enhances and proves it. So do monsters with something in mind. Most should help intimidation but not disrespect, so the creator is only intellectual responsible, while the monster is responsible for harm intended under other person´s restrain. This comes naturally. Fissiologically it can´t be punished for his smashing personality. Only humans with civil rights and respect for political issues can be punished for violence or moral missconduct, according to laws.

If you are saying that God is responsible for you then I would say: He more than likely has done all He can do to make you a angel, but if you have created a monster out of yourself, then: YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE AND WILL HAVE TO PAY!

You are responsible for the monster. The monster is responsible for the disaster.

morally you are responsible...legally, that may not be the case...depends on the monster and where you live.

Same argument applies to parents who allow their children to get into destructive mischief. In some jusrisdictions, the parents are responsible for the damage caused by their evil spawn...in others, it's all on the monster (kid).

Sure - think about people and their kids. Until your monster is 18 - you are responsible for it.

I didn't know all creaters weren't. Not sure what you are talking about.

But I would say yes if you create a monster you are responsbile for what it does. And I know a few parents that have some real monsters!

Yes, if you're referring to Frankenstein or even if someone created a robot and programmed it to do something bad.

But if you're referring to God, He created us and gave us free will. He gave us thought and wisdom to know right from wrong. That means we are responsible for our own actions.

You should read the books "Frankenstein" and the "Son of Frankenstein. The information contained within is like a 1,000,000 candle power flashlight in the dark. The answer can be found within. "Oh, Grasshopper, snatch this pebble from my hand".

If you some how give that monster the gift of free will,it can choose to do good or bad. Then it is not your fault,it chose to do wrong. If you pogram it to do wrong then its on you because you created it to work in that manner.GEt it.
