Ezekiel 38 says that it is God's will that Iran and Russia attack Israel so that He could show His glory. If it is God's will, should we allow Iran to attack and watch Iran get humiliated? Well of course, bible believing Christians would watch from heaven after the rapture. Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that need not be ashamed rightly dividing the Word of truth.

The land of Persia in that day is now Iran today. Thanks for the name calling, confirms I'm not a friend of the world but a friend of God.

By asking a question, I've not taken a position. I'm provoking a discussion. Thanks to the Christians you referenced scriptures, we should pray for the peace of Jerusalem. God will bless those who bless Israel. Should we allow Iran to attack Israel? Or in other words, should we do nothing? We should pray. Let the politicians do their thing.

What are we called to do? we are called to pray for Israel, and pray for salvation for her people. Those who bless Israel, God says He will bless. Those who condemn her will be condemned by God. Do we sit back and let someone attack God's people? or course not, we are to support her, God is in control and will allow what happens to happen. You are taking the role of a fatalist.

Lets forget all this nonsense you said about God and Bible for a moment.
Russia will never attack Israel. Russians are not that stupid. If Iran or any other country in the region attacks Israel, they'll be beaten and get what they deserve.
All of you dreaming about destruction of Israel, keep in mind that Israel has nuclear weapons and they'll use them as last resort.
Lets hope it never comes to this, but Israel will NEVER surrender without a huge fight.

Iran considers Israel to be the "little Satan" and America the "Big Satan". If America lets Iran attack Israel, then we are going to lose are one and only allie in the middle east.
It is crucial for America to protect Israel, because they're only one atomic bomb away from total annihilation. If America allows a nuclear Iran, then they will be using it against us. So no we should never allow Israel to be attacked. The bible says that it will bless nations that protect Israel, and curse nations that turn their back on them.

Don't forget the chants in Tehran only a few years ago. Death to America, Death to Israel. Shiite Muslims would seriously give up their country to bring about a world wide Muslim Revolution and usher in the Mahdi.

Sure go ahead. What would happen. Iran attacks Israel with a missle that cant go that far yet. So Israel dumps 4 nuclear bombs on Iran and there isnt a country anymore. Iran is gone.

Is this the power of God you are talking about and his glory?

Not sure what bible you are reading, but im pretty sure what you said isnt biblical. Put down the pipe before you start quoting scriptures that dont excist.

No, I see Iran as a religious police state, I don't usually advocate the flattening of any country, but something needs to be done with them.

EDIT: I think the Iranian people don't really like how radical their country is being viewed worldwide, I've seen some polls. I hope there is enough of a resistance MAYBE someday to overthrow their current government.

Makes no difference. Israel will win. The entire Muslim nation lost to Israel in 1976 so what's a puny place like Iran going to do.

"let"? I must say that I am soooooooooo tired of the American imperialism going on all over the world. We are not in control of other countries and it drives me friggin crazy the way we insinuate ourselves into messes everywhere else when there are kids in this country living in poverty without healthcare or access to a good education.

Um...if Iran wanted to attack Israel I don't know that anyone could prevent an initial attack.

I don't know that there'd be much left of Tehran, though.

It is utterly inappropriate to bring biblical quotes into a discussion of this question. The decision must be made on the geopolitical realities, not a bunch of superstitious nonsense. As for the specific question, the US need not be involved; the Israelis are quite capable of taking care of themselves.

I see what you are referring to, although it doesn't specifically mention Iran.
Besides Israel would turn Iran into New Israel. (which is kind-of what it says will happen.)
