I have receved manifestation from the Holy Spirit, which will tell the truth of all things to you. Through prayer and fasting i was able to know that our church is true, that Christ live and is our redeemer. I know that Joseph Smith restored the true church upon the earth though the power of Christ. I know these things. I dont think them. The spirit of God has told me and i cannot deny it. God has told me though his spirit that our church is true. I know it is true and god knows it is true and who am i to go against god. I would give you a few scriptures so that you, yourself will be able to tell what church is true.
James 1:5
1 Cor 2:9-14
Here is more words to be spoken
And when ye shall recieve these things, I would exhort you that you would asks God, the eternal father, In the name of Christ, If these things are not true; and if ye shall ask with a sinsere heart, with real intent, having faith in Christ, he will manifest the trut of it unto you, by the power of the Holy Ghost.
And by the power of the Holy Ghost ye may know the truth of all things.

It is just so uplifting. I was born into the Church, but I had my own conversion as a teenager, going off to the forest to read my Book of Mormon, alone. My home life was fairly troubled - too many kids/fights! My Dad was never a practising Mormon, and then he became completely opposed to the Church. (He had a mental illness.)
It was because of those peaceful times, when I felt so very close to God, that I knew that the Book of Mormon was true. I just went on from there... learning little bit by little bit, and having spiritual experiences that confirmed I was believing in the right thing.
I still know that the Restored Gospel of Jesus Christ is true, because the Spirit fills my heart with peace and warmth as I write this entry.

Its a feeling. It also makes sense to me. I know no other way. If this Church is not the true Church then to me there is no Church and then maybe there is no God.
When I read His Word, and when I pray I can feel that its what my Heavenly Father wants. I do believe the Church is the Lord's Church.

When people investigate our church we tell them, after they take the lessons, to ask God with full intent of heart, if the things they learned are true then they are answered. By the holy ghost members testify to them that the church is true.
it is also by faith that we believe our church is true. Through the lords words in the scriptures, we know because they are so true and the spirit tells you that.

well...in our church...we have a prophet, the book of mormon, the bible, and many other things..and we just know in our hearts that this is the true gospel..and i know that for a fact...we were put on this earth to be tested and to be challenged with trials and different things in our lives..and this life is a test to see if we can make it back to our heavenly father..and we as mormons are suppose to preach the gospel to everyone who wants to know..and i know with all my heart that this gospel is the true word of god and many people make fun of us for the things we choose not to do..but in the long run..it is all for the good and whoever follows the commandments and follows the word of wisdom will someday be able to live with their father in heaven again...and that is a relief to know that..and it is such a blessing to know that the gospel is true..i promise you..it is
-this may have been a lot more than you expected..but i just thought i would let you know how i truly feel about the church

ex-mormon, most will tell you about the burning feeling or the testimony or they prayed, in my new walk with god as a christian, I could tell you about miracles and healings and prophecies, I never saw in the mormon church, god works in my life, whereas in my walk as a mormon, nothing seemed to be going on, the prophet spoke, I was still depressed, no healings, just feeling depressed all the time, what kind of life was that?

I just know! I have prayed and have received a special feeling within me that I know it's true. I can't really describe it. It's like trying to describe what salt tastes like. You just know.
Fine, say I'm crazy and I have no proof. You can say that all day long but it will NEVER shake my testimony. I've seen and felt too many things to ever deny the truth.

Because we have faith. Everytime I walk into those sacred church doors, I feel peace and a sense of security. I absolutely KNOW it's true! Seriously, and I'm only 13!

1. Because I've prayed to know if it is true or not... God acts by the Holly Spirit and the Holy Spirit never lies. I got a testimony. And you also have that strong, cute, beautiful, warm feeling. It's amazing!
2. Because it makes sense to me :P

Study and prayer. God reveals all truth by the power of the Holy Ghost. Jesus says (John 14:26): But the Comforter which is the Holy Ghost shall teach you all things and bring all things to your remembrance.
