Stella is great but I've liked Heineken for about thirty years and its never let me down. Seriously, it doesn't hurt at all to have three or four really good beers for favorites because variety is a wonderful thing, kind of like with wines. With some meals a certain beer or wine tastes better than with other beers or wines. Like the actor Vincent Price once said,"A man that limits his interests, limits his life"

I don't think I have ever drank Stella Artois.

I used to like Heineken when I was in Germany, but the Heineken made here in the States is much too watery. Big difference between Heineken, my first love, in Germany and the Heineken I can buy here.

I am pretty faithful to Red Hook ESB.

they are both good, though Stella has a stronger taste that hits the back of your mouth, with a lasting aftertaste, while Heineken is sharper, and sweeter, with a lighter taste that goes down easier, would have to say Heineken, but it really depends on what type of beer im in the mood for, im in the mood for Heineken now :-)

Heineken is much better in my opinion. Stella is the number one imported beer to the US. Trust you your pallet--not the masses who usually get on a band wagon and follow rather than lead.

Stella -- No arguments about it. Heinekin is skunky, Stella is smooth and has great body and flavor. Anyone who says Heiny is a rich yuppy who doesn't know much about beer.
