I can guarantee they will add the points from the TN ticket to your TX license and if the total exceeds what you are supposed to have at renewal time, TX will not renew your license. They do a check before they send you the new one each time. Technically, TN cannot suspend a TX license, but TX can suspend it once they think you have too many points in a renewal period or if you have a warrant for your arrest issued by TN because you don't pay the fine, etc.

I got a ticket in Missouri while driving with a Colorado license. When renewal time came, I had to get a Missouri license because a ticket I had in CO was added to the one I had in MO (The Army had moved me there.) and Colorado wasn't going to renew it. Better wise up and stop breaking the law. It will eventually catch up to you since you can't outrun a computer check.

I believe all states have reciprocity, and can easily find out through their computer system whether licenses are valid, current, suspended, or in litigation, no matter where the license was issued. Tennessee will most likely notify Texas if that is the state of your residence, about the status of your license, even if they didn't ask you to forfeit it.

Yep. They'll know. All state computers are connected you see. I wouldn't get caught driving if I were you. Anywhere.
