I have an interview tomorrow morning for the role of coach/trainer in a busy warehouse. As part of the interview I will be asked to talk for 5 minutes on the benifits of coaching. Good ideas anyone?

Everyone remembers the first person who took an interest in their career. That mentor or coach or trainer, by his or her interest, guided us to the best employee we could be and set us on the path for our entire working life. That person could get us to work at top efficiency when were were tired or bored or just wanted to go home. My coach and I'll bet yours too, motivated me to do my best, not just when he was around but all the time.

That is how I see this job, as a position with the awesome responsibility of positively or negatively effecting a person's life. A coach is more than just someone who trains and monitors the workers. A coach is someone who is fair, even handed in applying the rules, and someone who projects positive motivation even on those days when it is just easier to grumble and limp along. A good coach can get the best from his or her workers all the time. A poor coach causes disruptions, plays favorites and costs the company money.

I believe that I will be a good coach .......

If you could give a power point presentation that would be great, but in either case cover these basic ideas / questions and build upon them
Why is coaching needed?
How does it benefit the company?
What knowledge experience / education of the job situation do you have?
How you would go about it?
Why your methods are the best?
Hope this helps a little, good luck tomorrow

Makes the employee aware of ways to improve their performance and increase their value to the company. The employee is reminded of company policies and forced to be responsible for his or her actions. The employer is also protected in the event the employee is fired. The documented coaching illustrate the legitimacy of the termination. During a formal coaching, the manager may also be made aware of problems hindering the employees performance.

It sounds like this activity is fairly a advertising so the interviewer is going to prefer to be responsive to which you will a) stay calm b) answer questions off the cuff and supply a sturdy foundation on your answer c) have the skill to shield all categories of questions d) admit which you may desire to no longer be responsive to the respond yet you will learn the question and come back to the customer. this is not constantly with regards to the 'training' or the 'potential' because of the fact the economic employer can practice you, it is likewise approximately your enthusiasm, your force to be triumphant and your willingness to income from others.
