Potatoes come to mind. They grow from the little eyes (buds) that appear when potatoes get a little older. The potatoes are cut into chunks containing one or two eyes (seeds). In the next day or so, the seed will form a thick callous over the cuts, which will help to prevent it from rotting once planted. Potatoes grow underground. (If the new potatoes are exposed to sunlight while they are developing, they will turn green. This green portion may be toxic!)

Pineapple. It has no seeds. The tree comes from the stem of the fruit. or Sugar cane. Now, pl. don't tell it has got seeds too.
