why is jokes and riddles in the same category?

I don't like riddles that much -- not a big fan of them. I want to read only jokes. I am sure the some people feel the same way about riddles. why are they together -- it is so annoying.

I agree. When I'm on here & want to be entertained by jokes, I don't want to have to think. But yahoo has not answered any of my other questions/complaints.......such as, why does yahoo give someone a violation just because someone doesn't like their question/comment? I think the folks who give false violations should lose points/

well my advice is that you just don't read the riddles....
