I mean seriously, isn't that weird? Do those people really have such a boring life that they have to obsess over other peoples sex lives? Should we feel sorry for them, since they obviously have no sex lives of their own?

fundie arguments:
its unnatural: who cares?
God made Adam and Eve not Adam and Steve: who cares?
Jesus doesn't like it: um.....why does he care?

Should we start some sort of fund for them, like a "send fundies to Disneyland" fund so they can quit being so bored with their life?

Most of them are closet homosexuals themselves.
In a recent study, they showed gay pornography to three sets of men; gay men, Straight men who said they had no problem with homosexuality and Straight men who said that homosexuality.
Guess which two groups reacted with the most erections? The homophobes and the gay men. Interestingly, the homophobes had a higher incidence of excitement than the gay men.
The other straight men were pretty much down the middle.
Yes, very interesting.

Yes the word athiest should exist, it simply is used to describe someone that says there is no God, so if the shoe fits, wear it, a rose by any other name is still a rose, right? A weed is still a weed, even if you call it a rose. common sense here. as far as the word homophobic, that is so ludircours it means to fear gays. WE that are Chrsitian know what GOds ays bout being homosexual, that it is a sin, an abomination to God and they will be lost if they dont repent and turn from it. BUt, we surely dont fear them at all. Chrsitians dont fear anything. God says He did not give us a spirit of fear, but a spirit of HOPE, in Jesus Chrsit. I believe you are correct, that term homophobic is created by the homosexuals themselves to try and make us look bad, but we dont have to buy into it WE simply dont fear them, nor do we hate them, nor does God fear or hate them, BUt they need to fear BE IN AWE OF Him and let Him change them from a life of sin to a life of holiness and purity, and stop the deviant life style there are in. Sexual sins will lead to the downfall of the cities, and look it is Just like with sodom and gomorreh, it is happening again. you cant even walk down the street without some guy saying stuff to you. When I lived in another state there was a 15 yr old boy that raped his mother ,not far from what I worked. How did it get this way folks? The more ppl have abandoned God and went for the own selfish , sinful lusts and desires, the more God is removing HIs blessings from the cities and nations, Only those in Christ will be protected But an athiest, that is a correct term. that is truly what they believe in, so its their religion that there is no good. Agnostics say probably not, but maybe, can you prov eit? Those are terms used to literally descirbe the belifs of a person, as mch as a baptist is a baptist, a nazarene is a nazerene, and a devil worship group is sitll a devil worship group. Each say who they are and what they believe. Calling it another name doesnt change it, but when a word doesnt fit the description as in homophobic, ppl need to refuse to use that term and not respond to it. Make sense?

You don't even understand the word you're using. Get a dictionary...Homophobia means "a fear of homosexuality". I don't know anyone who is afraid of homosexuals.

And You should really learn more about God and Christianity before you post false opinions. Christians have a better life than you'll ever know, because we know God. (And I sure won't go into our sex lives, although you seem so obsessed by them.) And if you knew and loved God, you'd also know that God doesn't approve of any relationship outside of the husband-wife relationship. That's why it's important. Because it's important to God. But as Christians we will continue praying for you all who don't care what God thinks.

I feel sorry for them. (They do protest too much, me thinks.)

It's one thing to disapprove of homosexuality. It's another thing to obsess over it to the point where it comes up in your daily conversation, you join campaigns to harrass gays, you protest gay events, etc. And it's still another thing if you're actually violent towards gays--that just screams that you've got some identity issues.

And I don't think the fundies would be happy at Disneyland either--didn't they just boycott Disney World a few years back for Disney's declining "family values"? I miss that boycott, it made WDW a much happier place to be :)

Yoda Green's post confirms what I've always suspected. Seems the most hate-filled homophobes are usually closet cases in deep denial. Think Colonel Frank Fitts in "American Beauty"

Well, in all due respect, homosexuality is not moral and many people are uncomfortable with it. It's not normal. It's got nothing to do with boredom. I'm not homophobic, I do not judge anybody, but i do not agree with that lifestyle. It's just not how it's supposed to be. Sorry, women are for men, men are for women, that's just the way God intended it to be, so don't blame other people for being homophobic of you being gay.

"Aren't homophobic people queer?" - Skalite

Yes, while I find two men kissing to be infinitely gross, I have no problem if they choose to do it. Live your life in a manner that makes you happy and harms no one and I shall do the same.
