The AC compressor runs off a belt that is linked to your engine (basically). So yes it will rob some power and RPM from your engine, especially at idle. If you know nothing about cars - take it to someone qualified to check it out. If you know a thing or two - you might just adjust the idle speed up a hair (just enough so it doesn't stall, but not too much) to cover the drop in RPM from the AC. This may prevent the stall when you stop. By no means am I claiming ASE certification or anything, but this would be a cheap, quick fix if it works.

The AC compressor can be robbing your engine for power causing it to stall when the engine speed slows down. Sometimes the compressor just needs a little bite of oil. Auto Stores can help you with what kind of oil and how to add it..

AC compressor is bad or going bad. It's bogging down the engine. the compressor runs off the fan belts, which are turned by the main crank shaft.

It looks like an alternator subject, yet i might take the vehicle to a storage and get the recent battery and the alternator output checked. half-hour is greater suitable than sufficient to interchange the battery means required to start a automobile. If a automobile starts usually the battery could be completely recharged in 10 minutes. A clock, via the way, will take months to burn up a battery's fee
