just purchased an 800W max power amp, and didnt realize but it is a one channel amp, my only option would be to connect it to the subwoofer, but I wanted to rather power tha front speakers...which is the way or best way....

Technically you can connect both speakers to the amp. However, you will lose the 2-channel stereo effect (right and left channels will sound exactly the same). For this reason, it's not recommended.

Kaezoo is correct, long before surrond sound they used to promote Hi-Fi stereo, you'd be going back to before then, eliminating stereo imaging. also if you are refereing to a mono amp such as a class d amp they do not even play the higher frequencies, they are designed exclusively for subwoofers.

yeah, its mono, you would want 2 channel.

not really worth hooking up.
