I am almost 19 y/o guy and All my friends r turning their backs on me. All my friends even my best friends r turning their backs on me. My two best friends have girlfriends now and just seem to blow me off to hang out with their girlfriends. We r supposed to hang out and they just blow me off wht is going on with my friends. I am sick of how my friends have changed so much. I think it has to do with them having girlfriends, thats why I have never had or never will have a girlfriend, I do not want to turn into them. They have betrayed me and turned on me and I will never do that to friends.

It's just a fact of life...eventually your boys are going to find girlfriends...and their time will go more towards their girlfriends than with the gang of guys. I mean later on, these girlfriends could turn to wives, and from then on, all their life is going to revolve around is their wife and family.
I understand you have that mentality, friends first, right? I guess this is kind of a saying you say before you have a significant other...but once you get one, it is hard to still keep to that pact. Your guy friends will always be your friends though. It sucks that they are blowing you off for their girlfriends, so talk to them and say you just want to hang out with them and catch up like good times. They should understand.

Part of it is that y'all are young, and hormones are going crazy...but wanting to spend time with a girlfriend (or boyfriend in the case of gals) isn't betrayal. It's natural....especially when the relationship is new.
Real friends will understand and be patient...and if your buds are your real friends they'll make time for you when you let them know you miss hangin' out with them.

Find a girlfriend and then go out on double dates and stuff. Getting into relationships are all a part of life. Granted, I don't think they should be pushin you out of the picture. But I think maybe you should go with the flow, have them set you up with someone, start goin places with them with the ladies. Should be fun!

that is the dumbest saying i have ever heard. the only reason guys say that is because they dont have a girlfriend of their own. they think that if a guy is spending all his time with his girl and not his friends then he likes her better...which is probably true. but my point is, get over it. they are going to spend time with their girlfriends!!!!
