I mean,some of these people spend 16 hours a day sitting there doing nothing but posting "questions" that are obviously not really questions,just statements to insult,revile,hurt feelings,etc. Either they are incredibly bored or they are incredibly sadistic,or both. Opinions? Also,what is the definition of trolling and trolls? As I understand,almost all these bored-to-death "atheists" would meet the definition. Why don't they get a life?

See what i mean? All these atheists on a religion and spiritually category - solely to insult and revile. They'll be here 12 hours from now,most of them . I doubt they have friends - not with their kind of snotty,rotten-egg personaliies.

They are often socially isolated individuals with severe personality disorders. Going to a religion & spirituality site and relentlessly posting offensive,insulting or otherwise obnoxious "questions" provides them with an outlet for their anger and frustration. Many of them - to go by their postings - do indeed spend 12-16 hours a day at their PC,much of it on R&S. You don't see them much on the other categories,so they aren't just killing time. They are filled with hate - and with the fantasy that they will destroy the Church using Yahoo Answers. Good luck on that. They really are so asinine. I call them Rabid Athiest Trolls,and I recommend blocking them. Not all atheists - just the ones who are consistently rude and offensive. Which unfortunately is most.

Try not to take things so seriously. Just laugh and take things with a grain of salt. If you see a question you don't like, ignore it and move on to one you do. Life's too short to get angry over every little thing. A troll is a very subjective thing. A troll for you may be a guru for someone else. I may view someone as a troll while you see the person as a genius.

Wow! You must be a load of fun at parties! Have you read any of the questions posed by Christians that are directed at Jews or Muslims or Atheists that are insulting and cause hurt feelings? You haven't? Where have you been? Everyone does it to a greater or lesser degree....don't make yourself out to be something better than others.

I havn't posted a question for months. Do you just call them troll questions because it goes against what you believe? Some truths are hard to point out to christians, and we take a violation or two to do it. Youse should thank us for the service. Time for your diaper change yet? You don't want to get a rash.

I personally sit here for the better part of eight hours because my job is boring and I'm really just waiting to get out of it. If I did have something better to do, I'd do it. But I don't. I've come to be a regular on this site because it offers distraction, cynicism, sarcasm, and various other forms of what I perceive as entertainment. (My opinion, not anyone else's) For you to sit there and accuse me of having no life is unacceptable. What if I truly don't have a life during these eight hours? Do you pity me then? I don't need that either.

From what I see they just try to get a rise out of Christians, who are fast to defend their belief's and their Faith.
The way I deal with it is just to ignore them.
They have the same right to believe what they want like we do, and you will never change the way they think. Rather than allow them to anger you..try what I do..leave them alone..and pray they leave you alone to.

From what I've observed, they spend no more time "trolling" or looking for a good fight than anybody else here, including Christians. As a matter of fact, it appears that this is exactly what you are doing!

It goes both ways buddy. It is not just atheists trolling the place. In fact, I see more Christian trolls than Athiest trolls.
