as far as what? The only refund I can think of in relation to being a renter, is that you should get your security deposit back, as long as your landlord didn't need to do any repairs to the apartment after you moved out.

Some states have programs where they will refund a portion of a person's property taxes based on certain qualifications. A renters refund is for the property tax the renter paid indirectly through his/her rent. Without knowing which state, I'd have no way to be able to assist further.

In Minnesota, we have a property tax refund. For renters, it sometimes called the "Renter's Rebate".

There is no such thing as a renters refund. I have rented a place for 5 years and never got no refund for anything. The only money I got back to me was my security deposit but it was a little less of what I gave them because they had to fix some repairs in the townhouse.

Some states have rent rebate programs. They usually have age and/or income requirements to qualify. Check your state website for information.
