Just Kidding. Seriously though, I am a theist, not an atheist, I just do not believe in a Christian sort of god. But a question for Christians: Do you believe the anti-christ is on Earth right now? I guess I am asking do you believe the Book of Revelations is happening on Earth now, or will it happen in a subsequent generation? Or is it just bullshi*?

Imam, you are right that I do not believe you at this point in my life, but that is not to say I won't when I get older. I guess we both don't know.
And to "god", the first poster, I am just curious about other peoples belief on the subject....

i think its possible the antichrist is alive today and maybe he doesnt even realize who he is yet ...but it myt not be in our lifetime i accept that also ...

The Bible doesn't really teach that there is one antiChrist. It does teach that there are many anti- Christs. You have obviously heard a lot of pre- milllenial teachers who believe that the Book of Revelation is being fulfilled now. But this teaching has only been around for the last 150 years. Scholars who have studied Revelation and the history of Christianity will tell you that most of the book was fulfilled already. It was written to Christians in a time of great persecution, and Rome and its emperor was the anti- Christ. It isn't bull- it is history. Only the ending has not been fulfilled yet.

This question is for Muslims as well. We believe there will be an antichrist too. But your first guess is not right, we will know because the Prophet of Islam has said Jesus, is the messiah and there will be and antichrist, a false messiah, as well as that he described how he will look like. And there will be signs, which show the antichrist is coming or is near. Then Jesus AS will descend and live on Earth for forty years, and in that time will kill the antichrist. Everyone will join in one religion, ISLAM, but obviously you will not believe me.

I believe the anti Christ is symbolic for man thinking as mortals instead of spiritually.So, yes, it is present on earth.Armageddon, is symbolic for the final battle between spirit and flesh. Spirit will prevail. So,again yes, I believe all things are and have always been working towards the final showdown. Spiritual man vs. Mortal man. The re-turn of Jesus will be in a spiritual awakening, not in the flesh.

I believe the end is coming sometime during my life so yes, I do think the anti-christ is on Earth. Not sure who it is yet, but I'm sure we will soon.
