Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. (John 14:6)

I think that anyone who could, walk on water, feed 5000 with 2 fishes and 5 loaves, raise the dead on 4 different occasions, heal the sick, give sight to the blind, set the demon possessed free, and come back to life after being killed and be seen in the flesh by over 500 wittnesses to prove that it really happened and then leave the earth floating up into Heaven telling those who saw Him go that He would return to the world in the same way--might know who He is and what He is talking about. Collossians1:16 "For by him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things were created by him and for him."

I trusted that He was who He said He was and found that He was right. The search for truth, joy, peace, hope, a future with God are over because of really being able to reach God--through Jesus Christ.

There are only two possibilities about Jesus either He is the way to God or He was a liar and religious con-man worse than David Koresh or Jim Jones. Since He went about doing only good....well, you will have to decide what to believe. Either believe in Jesus or deny Him.

Any man can make a claim but when that claim turns out to be genuine--you have someone that is telling you the truth-- the truth that leads the way to Life perhaps.

It's not about how you feel it's about what you know about it. It's about it being foretold and it being prophecy. It's about comparing scripture with scripture and learning that God always comes through with what he says he will and that he did with Jesus, and it is about Jesus getting the credit and rightfully so for the price he had to pay, therefore God will not let anyone enter who does not believe in the savior.

The first requirement is taking in knowledge of God. Consider Jesus’ words recorded in John chapter 17. The setting was the final night of Jesus’ life as a human. Jesus had spent much of the evening preparing his apostles for his departure. He was concerned about their future, their everlasting future. Raising his eyes to heaven, he prayed for them. In verse 3, we read: “This means everlasting life, their taking in knowledge of you, the only true God, and of the one whom you sent forth, Jesus Christ.” Yes, their salvation was dependent upon their “taking in knowledge” of both God and Christ. That applies to us too. To gain salvation, we must take in such knowledge.

What does it mean to ‘take in knowledge’ of God? The Greek word here translated “taking in knowledge” signifies “to come to know, recognize” or “to understand completely.” Notice, too, that the rendering “taking in knowledge” implies that this is an ongoing process. To take in knowledge of God thus means to come to know him not superficially but intimately, developing an understanding friendship with him. A continuing relationship with God brings ever-increasing knowledge of him. This process can continue forever, for we will never learn all that there is to know about Jehovah.—Romans 11:33
.. so how do I feel?.. I feel Good..

Well, if I was writing a book about someone that I admired and wanted to start a belief system based on their teachings, I would attribute a lot of things to him/her, even things they may not have said as long as it is in line with what I want to believe...and since they're dead, I don't think they would be able to refute me. Better yet, I can say that they are alive in spirit and since they're not striking me down, I must be right! Hm, sounds familiar...

In a world that so frequently questions whether there are any absolutes, for me that statement is yet one more promise from my Lord that reflects that there ARE absolutes, unbreakable rules, a standard that MUST be met. No loopholes, no compromise, no philosophizing. TRUTH.

Hmmm. You tell people that you are the only way to get to heaven. Not a creative thing coming from a figurehead of a religion. Dime a dozen quote.

Believing in Jesus is the only way to God. It makes me feel terrific as I know my faith lies in Him that created me and died for me.

Thankful that He was willing to die so I could follow that one way to God. But for some reason, I don't think this is what you're asking.

It makes me feel wonderful that I follow "The Way, The Truth, The Life"......The only Way to the Father. :)

It would make you feel wonderful too if you'd ask Him, He will come to you and give you peace you've never experienced.

The stuff attributed to Jesus was written well after he died, if he existed at all. John wrote decades after Jesus died and hardly mentioned anything that Jesus said. Only decades after that did some people suddenly "remember" details of his life and started "quoting" him. Yeah... right...
