Is there a way to install any version of Photoshop, or any similar graphics editing program (preferrably a vector graphics capable program) onto a thumb drive and have it function on any computer I plug it in to?

I need to edit pictures at work, but MS Paint isn't cutting it. :)

Note:

On second thought, I don't care if it is vector-based or not.

Yes, how I am not sure.. na really there is a movement to make all apps portable.. as in no install / reg keys, etc - thumbdrive compatible. You may google thinstall - it is a tool you use to do that. Or you can visit http://portableapps.com/ for a portable Gimp. Also visit portablefreeware.com for more "usb ready" applications.

Besides thinstall someone else was making a portable app maker but just gave up developement, but users said it was working.. but I ma drawing a blank on it right now.

Just found this ..

Because during the installation, Photoshop writes parts of it's self into the registry, it must be installed to a drive that is part of that computer. If you are looking for a program the is Raster/Vector based, gimp comes to mind. Or just install Photoshop to your work computer.

There is this new invention called the internet you should learn to use it! Go here http://portableapps.com/, then click on applications, scroll down to GIMP Portable. GIMP is way more powerful than MS Paint. Give a dollar or two as a donation via PayPal to show thank for their work.

Yes

I downloaded PSP onto my 256 MB flash drive at school because they have like. . 10mb speed. @.@ And I have dial up at home. ._.

You could always download it onto your thumb drive, then once you get home, you can actually install it onto your computer from there, without the super long wait.
