I need a club for a second shot, usually out of rough, for par 5's that gets me to an 150 yard approach. I am overswinging low irons.
I know nothing about hybrid clubs. Is there a certain manufacturer and club face angle i need to look for?

maybe you should be looking for a better club off the tee since you seem to end up in the rough

Try the Nickent Ironwoods. You can get them used on EBAY for less than $50, they're the best hybrids out there regardless of how much they cost.

As far as degrees of loft you'll need, if you swing around 90 mph, use this as a distance gauge:

17* 210 yards
20* 200 yards
23* 185 yards
26* 170 yards

I'm not saying you need 4 hybrids, just pick whichever one or two you think you'll use the most.

The only hybrids I've ever owned are TaylorMade Rescue & Adams Idea A2 OS. I'm pleased with both brands. I'd still play the TaylorMades, but when I bought my Adams irons, the #3 & #4 hybrids came with the set. The loft on my Adams #3 hybrid is 19 degrees and the #4 is 23 degrees.

These hybrids replace the traditional 3 & 4-irons, but are much easier to hit.

I've owned them all ( equipment junkie ) and the one to fit your need is a 4-hybrid, around 21 degrees. It glides nicely through rough ( if there is a such thing ) and has just the right loft for clearing the grass. It is a very useful loft from fairway bunkers too. The Taylor Made TP Rescue is great ( less offset ) and the Adams Pro Hybrid's are GREAT!

Go to a good golf store. Try out several brands and lofts on a launch monitor......The data will tell you which one is best for your swing and distance requirements. Only buy what you hit best!
