This guy told me he liked me alot after i told him i liked him. We would be dating but he just hasnt asked me yet and i told him i wont ask him so he said he will when the time is right. A week later he has a girlfriend. How can guys do this dont they care about anyone but themselves???

oh geeze, I'm so sorry. the same thing happened to me a couple years ago. I wish I knew what to tell you to make it better, but really only time will help.
guys like that are immature and selfish, and I think that your guy was probably just not sure what he wanted, and not thinking at all about your feelings, so I know it's hard to hear and not much help, but it's probably best you didn't end up with him. if he's uncaring now, he'd be uncaring going out with you as well, and there are guys out there who *are* sensitive and conscious of other people's feelings. you're bound to run into one sooner or later! good luck. ^_^
