"Fill the Earth and subdue it," somewhere in Genesis. I guess God didn't care about population control. It certainly wouldn't have been an issue with a culture like ancient Israel, whose goal was to defeat their enemies, take their land, and populate it with their own people.

Forget the bible, currently the world population doubles every 40 years, there is unprecedented habitat destruction and environmental damage, the global resources are limited, and the natural world is under a great threat from what is already and overburden of people in the world..
Deny it all you like, but you are either a part of the problem, or part of the solution..
Just because you believe in your after life etc, doesn't mean it's ok to have such a disresepct for the environment and the natural world...
You know it makes sense..!

The people bringing up "wedlock" here are the most amusing. Being married or not has nothing at all to do with QUANTITIES.
If every human on this planet was Christian, hetero, married and procreating like the Walton's, doing everything just like God told them to do, then overpopulation would still be a concern.
I guess then God just will indiscriminately kill everyone with another Flood?
Or would you Christians like to SERIOUSLY answer the question now, instead of evading it?

nope. although... if we bring back throwing the christians to the lions, that would be good for population control. and maybe pumping in "special" water to the bible belt region that causes sterility... hmm. so many good ideas!

no, there isn't. GOd wasn't then, and he isn't now concerned with population control because overpopulation is a total myth.
